I cant get my menu and jump button to work

Hard Reset
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Scroll to and select Settings
3. Scroll to and select System Info
4. Press the Menu, Shift and X keys simultaneiously.
5. Select Erase to erase the flash settings.
6. At the System Info screen, press the Menu, Shift and R keys simultaneously.
7. Select Erase to erase the Sign-In information.
8. Insert a paper clip in the reset hole while holding down the Power button.

Note: The device vibrates if all steps are performed correctl

what i did was take out my sim charg it den cut it on it will cut on put sim bak in afta u cut it off and try again do a couple of time it will work

Let it DRY up! Remove the battery and let it sit, open, for several hours, if not days. It needs to dry up completely before it can operate again, if you're lucky. My wife dropped hers in the toilet, but quickly did what I suggest, and the phone was fine the following day.

unfortanetly the device uses smd components and very small form factors to rteplace componanets. good news is many people had this issue and many people got their phones replaced. for free just tell them that you did not drop it or damadge it and it stopped working for no aparent reason, they suld honor that and help you out.

More than likely, the trackball on your Side LX is really dirty. Overtime, dirt and grime gets in between the ball and the sensors.

It is really easy to clean it, you will need q-tips and IPA alcohol.

I can tell you that if you have pictures on them they have to be put into a specific folder to view on the phone. The easiest thing to do is format the card on your computer. After I did that the sidekick had no problems reading mine. If you ever add photos to the card from an outside source such as usb cable make sure you put the pictures in the exact same folder the sidekick camera puts them in.

Is the space bar on your Sidekick LX not working when you are trying to text or in AIM? Do you have thesame space bar button problem on your T-mobile Sidekick 2008? Does the Sidekick spacebar work in other apps though?
If so then this fix is for you.
1. Open the AutoText & Spelling screen. From the Jump screen, press the MENU button, then select Settings > AutoText & Spelling.
2. Uncheck the following settings:

• • Highlight misspelled words
  • Auto correct spelling

3. Exit out of the settings screen and try it out.
Hopefully, this will have solved your issue.
