Question about Kitchen Ranges

1 Answer

I have a Westinghouse Roaster Oven that I inherited from my aunt and it works beautifully. However, the cord for it developed a short and needs replacing. The catalog number on the bottom is RO5411. It is 225 volts and 1320 watts. There was also a "T" stamped in the bottom right corner of the information stamp. I don't know if it's pertinent. Is there a replacement cord for my roaster?

Need a power cord for a Nesco model 4946-10 6 qt. roaster oven

You can find replacement cords for counter top appliances at most hardware and building supply stores. Try Ace, Home Depot, Lowes. Take the cooker with you to make sure you get the correct cord.

No manual

The manual is available on line here:

The roaster works well as a giant slow cooker (200 low, 300 high) and you can use almost any oven recipe, including baking. DO preheat 20 minutes, and do keep the lid on.

Missing insert pan for Hamilton Beach Roaster oven model 527

I am currently selling a triple buffet server by GE. It is new and in the box and says 'fits most 17 and 18 qt ovens. I bought it to use when I borrowed a roaster oven, but ended up never using it. It has 3 compartments, enamel on steel. It would take at least $11.00 to send and I would like $15.00 for the insert. If interested, answer this.

I need a power supply cord for my westinghouse roaster oven - Cat. Nero 5411-1, 120 V, 1400 W. However, the numbers on the cord itself are 15A, 125V, 1575W. It is very old, but still has a paper sticker on...

I wish all cords fit all cook pots, wouldn't be grand. But they don;t an they often get lost and miss guided. I would try looking at Thrift stores and Salvation Army stores , they have a lot of missed matched cord, cables I found one most recently for a fry pan for a friend of mine.they are very common ,only .50 cents. Happy hunting DFD

Roaster OVen Cords

The new roaster ovens have a cord that is hardwired into the base. This became necessary for safety reasons. However, if you are lucky enough to have a very old one, cords that fit can be purchased at local hardware stores. They are larger than coffee pot cords but are very similar in design. Those plug in to a receptacle recessed in the base. If the cord is hardwired into the base, you will need to provide the expert that helped you with the information he requested.
