I deleted the users and I cannot get into Windows because is asking me the User in the welcome Windows screen. I have a ThinkPad T40. Thank you!

Wow! Well on that I think your only solution to reload the operating system with your cd that came with the computer. You can't log in with the way it sounds. That will be the simple way. You will not be able to save your stuff that is on the computer.

No volume on my computer

All you say is there is no volume. I will have to assume that the sound card is actually "seen" by the system. If it is in the device manager and it is shown as working, there are three things that can be wrong: Your volume can be turned really low. The speakers can be muted (will show up as muted in the sound setup in the control panel). The speakers can be bad. Unfortunately, this will require dissassembly of the computer.
Check the easy stuff first. Also, check the sound jack on the side of the computer with either external speakers or a headset. If you have checked everything else and the headset works, then the speakers are bad or disconnected.

WHen I delete in outlook 2007, the message just disappears and does not show up in either deleted items or trash. I am using IMAP for Gmail. Marc

Marc,

Unfortunately, this is the way that IMAP works for Outlook. I get the same results with all my Gmail accounts that talk to Outlook. We both just need to be extra careful when deleting stuff from our Gmail accounts.

Deleted text

it depends on whether you sync your phone to a pc on a regular basis and backup your data. Unlike a computer which you can just restore to a previous date and be able to access uncorrupted or deleted data, I believe a cellphone deletes any information that you physically delete. I had a MDA Vario and there was a trashbin where you could access deleted stuff if you hadn't emptied trash, but if you don't have this on the android, i dont think you can access that info if theres no backup that you initiated on a computer.

Deleted stuff from recycle bin

Unfortunately no, once the recycle bin is deleted, it removes the files entirely. If the files are very important to you, there's a small chance that they could still be retrieved, but you would have to seek assistance from a Data Recovery service specialist in your area. There are some programs out there that you could purchase as well, that may be able to recover deleted files as well, and would be much cheaper than a data recovery service would, but there's also no guarantee through either of those methods if the results would be successful. My only suggestion at this point, if you want to increase the chances of the data being recovered, is to try and keep your computer as unused as possible, don't add or remove files, don't put stuff in the recycle bin. The reason I say this, is that files, even after their deleted, may leave remnant information behind on the hard drive platters themselves, and if you overwrite those specific sectors with more information, the leftovers usually get written over as well, thus being lost for good. Hope this helps!

Audio configuration problem

Sounds like you took out some drivers or other sound devices. Id recommend doing a sysytem restore from right before you started deleting "stuff". click on the start button, go to accesories, system tools, and down to system restore, click on it. A wizard should ask you to restore from a earlier time, pick the date before you deleted files and that should do it. Next time Id recommend backing up important system files before you start deleting programs and files :)
