Question about Ricoh Aficio CL7200DT2 Laser Printer
We have acquired an Aficio MP 2000 copier/fax machine with the recent purchase of a business. Although we were able to find manuals that came with the machine, we can not find information in those manuals on how to "change the number of rings to 4 or more rings." Four rings are required for our securtity alarm on our building since it is hooked up through our phone lines. Please advise,
There should be a separate manual to cover the fax function in the machine. You can download one at Ricoh.com

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Part number is: B237 4053 (North America)
B237 4054 (Europe)
I Expect this will be very expensive as it is not designed to be replaced as an entire assembly, but rather repaired as needed.

That could be caused by a number of things:
Are you connected to the phone line by a very long telephone cable? This can cause extra interference and cause these codes. Or it could be a deteriorated cable...try another one.
otherwise, it could be a fax circuit board problem, but more likely you need to have the 'cable equalizer " adjustment performed in "service mode", which is a fairly simple adjustment for a service tech, but too complicated to explain here.
I hope this helps.

From Ricoh Aficio MP2550 manual:
Delete destinations registered in the LAN-Fax Address Book:
On the [Start] menu, point to [All Programs], [LAN-Fax Utilities], and then click [Address Book].
The [Address Book] dialog box appears.
If LAN-Fax Driver has already started up, click [Edit Address Book...].
Click [New/Browse...], and then select the CSV file containing the address list to be edited.
Select the destination you want to delete so it is highlighted in the list.
If you made changes to a destination, a confirmation message appears. To save the changes, click [Yes].
If you do not want to save the changes and want to quit editing, click [No].
To return to the editing display, click [Cancel].
The confirmation dialog box does not appear when you have not made any changes after starting Address Book.
You can download the manual (HTML or PDF/ZIP versions) from here:
