The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.

SOURCE: Camera will not read disc, I have formated disk

If you have moved pics from your computer to the card and then inserted the card into your camera, the card is now formatted to the computer, not the camera. You're supposed to format the card in the camera.

SOURCE: My camera doesn't transfer pictures to my computer

Hello and welcome to FixYa

Please go to a electronics store and buy a USB card reader. I bought one last week and it cost $0.5 so its cheap as dirt. Then simply remove the card from your camera , pop it into the reader and the pictures will appear on a drive like a flashdrive in your my computer folder.

This is a much better option than using the camera's cable as it is faster , safer , saves on your camera battery and you don't need to install any software or drivers.

Kind Regards
Andrea

How to transfer pictures from laptop to disc

Most cameras won't let you transfer pictures to them from another device, so you'll have to take the memory card out of your camera and put it into a card reader attached to your computer. Once inserted the card will appear to your computer as another hard drive. You can then use the operating system's copy&paste feature to copy pictures to the card, the same way you might copy any other file from one place to another on your computer.

Hook the camera up to the pc and error states disc needs to be formatted. I do not want to lose pictures how do i correct

if you have the pictures on the camera(memory card)
try to transfer pictures first using a cardreader. after you transfer all pictures to your computer you can now try to format the memorycard and try it again.

note: it will not work if the memorycard you're using was formatted on a computer before with a fat system and you are now trying to have it read on a computer on an ntfs system.

You don't need the disk to transfer your pictures from your camera to your computer. Just take your sd card out of your camera and plug it into your computer. A folder with your pictures will appear on your computer. Copy them to a different folder on your computer, so you can take your sd card out and still have them on there.
If that doesn't work, plug the cable in that came with your camera, and hopefully that will work.

Lost Disk

Through the software disc you can transfer the pictures and edit the pictures . Actually This camera is plug in play device, so when you connect the camera to your computer it will show up as removable disc and this way you transfer the pictures to you computer. So you dont need to have software for this.
And the software is not available online, If still you want the software please call the manufacturer and the # is 877 397 8200
