Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
The Laptopn starts/runs on wall power but shuts down within 2 minutes when on just battery. I get a low power message at that time.
I have replaced the battery but the laptop acts exactly the same was as when the old battery was installed.
When I open the power window, the battery icon has a red X through it and it indicates 0% Charged.
Is there an internal battery component that needs repair or replacement? Can I do the procedure myself?
Have you tested the A/C to be charging correctly ? Have you confirmed that at the back of your laptop where you plug the power in that the pin is not bend and not missing or broken or pushed in ?
If your new battery and the old battery give you exactly the same issue, then most likely your A/C power adapter or cable OR the physical port on your laptop is broken and needs to be replaced.
