If you have only two wires and two terminals, it doesn't matter which one is which.
The thermostat is a switch. Your black and red wires would be the input and output to that switch. One is always hot, the other is hot only when the thermostat is calling for cooling, that is, when the switch is closed.

Side by Side water dispenser would not stop

You will need to replace the switch. Here is the part to order.
To replace the switch:

Here are the basic instructions: " 1. Unplug the refrigerator power cord. 2. Remove the overflow grille from the housing. 3. Unsnap front cover at the bottom of the housing. (You'll need to insert the tip of a flat blade tool into the slots molded into the bottom edge of the facade and twist or pry out,you may want to use some type of pad to eliminate damage to the door panel). 4. Disconnect the front cover switch harness connector and set the cover aside. 5. Disconnect the power wire harness connector (BL/BK and W wires) 6. Disconnect the flapper door heater wire harness connector (if one is present). 7. Release the dispenser microswitch retainers and slide the switches off of their locator pins. Carefully handle the switches so they do not come apart."

How do I replace the power cord on an electrolux 8502A vacuum cleaner?

1 Unplug the vacuum and remove all accessories such as extensions and brushes. Open the vacuum's outer casing to get at the end of the power cord. Exactly how you will do this depends on the model of vacuum. Generally it simply involves the removal of two to three Phillips-head screws.
2 Follow the power cord to the two connections at the vacuum's motor. Unfasten any clips or holding bracket and disconnect the cord from the motor. Sometimes this can be accomplished by unscrewing two connection screws, other times the cord is soldered directly to the motor. If this is the case use wire cutters and cut the cord about 4 inches from the motor to give room for splicing on a new cord.
3 Insert the new power cord into the vacuum. Follow the exact same path as the old one. If there were any brackets or clips that held the old cord in place inside the vacuum or out use them on the new cord.
4 Tie a knot in the cord on the inside of the vacuum casing so that it will not accidentally be pulled out of the motor once it is in use.
5 Connect the new cord to the motor in the same fashion as the old one. With wire strippers take off about 1 inch of insulation from the new cord to expose the two wires. Either wrap them around the connection posts and re-screw, or twist the new cord wires around the 4-inch remnants of the old cord and seal all exposed wire and connections with electrical tape.
6 Replace the vacuum's casing in reverse order from how you removed it. Plug in the vacuum to test.

I need a spark plug wire diagram for 1987 ford 302 crown vic

1987 Ford Crown Victoria 5.0L FI 8cyl

Duraspark Type Plug Wires
The spark plug wires used with the Duraspark type ignition system are 5 / 16 in. (8mm) in diameter to contain the higher output voltage. There are two types of wires used in this system, and some engines may have both types installed. It is important to properly identify the type of wire used for each cylinder before replacements are made.

Both types are blue in color and have silicone jacketing. The insulation material underneath the jacketing on some plug wires is a silicone layer separated by glass braid. The plug cable not incorporating the silicone layer is used where engine temperatures are cooler and are identified with the letter SE with black printing. The plug cables with the silicone insulation are used where high engine temperatures are present. These cables are identified with the letters SS with white printing.
Each spark plug cable, if original, is marked with the cylinder number, model year and date of cable manufacture (quarter and year). Service replacement wires will not have cylinder numbers, or manufacture date.

On any vehicle equipped with a catalytic converter, never allow the engine to run for more than 30 seconds with a spark plug wire disconnected. Unburned fuel in the cylinder may ignite in the converter as it is exhausted and damage the converter.

When removing spark plug wires, mark and tag the individual wires. Grasp, then slowly, twist the insulator back and forth on the spark plug to free the insulator. Do not pull on the wire directly as it may become separated from the connector inside the insulator. Special tools are available which can help ease plug wire removal, and prevent damage to a cable.

When installing a new set of spark plug wires, replace the wires one at a time so there will be no confusion. Start by replacing the longest wire first. Route the wire exactly the same as the original.

Cooling does not work either

Get in there with a vacuum and clean up the condenser coils then check the compressor relay. If all those are fine bypass the cold control just long enough to see if the water cooler works. Do not leave it bypassed or damage to the reservoir could occur.

Glen,
We purchaced this water dispencer about 2 years ago, everything was working normal, water heater works fine and the cooler would come on and go off normally, until you dispenced cold water and then the coller would cool down and shut of like it's supposed to.
Afetr a couple of years , one day it started cooling continuously and wouldn't stop, I've just shut the cooler switch off on the back of the unit until i can figure the problem out, unit #(87330).
I believe the problem is in the circuit control board, but with out further testing i can't be sure .

I bought one but it was missing the cord, so I hooked it to the benchtop supply. I found out if you place positive to the red terminal/grey wires under the outside cover and negative to the blue/black wires it cools. With a DPDT switch and a couple of LEDs you could wire it so you dont need that special coleman cord, any lighter cord will work provided it can handle about 6 amps, I recommend 12 to 14 gauge wire and a 6 amp fuse.
