Question about Palm Treo 755p Smartphone
Whenever I emerge from a place that has limited phone reception (basement, parking garage, etc), I am unable to place or receive calls. The signal strength is fine, and I can dial the number no problem, and the screen says "dialing", but it won't connect and the phone timer won't start. It will try for a maybe 10 seconds, and just go back to the keypad screen. I've tried soft reset many times which resolves the problem for a day or two, a hard reset lasted about a week. No third party programs. I took it to Sprint twice and they couldn't find anything wrong. I had this problem with my 700p, so I upgraded to the 755p and the same thing is happening. Could it be a problem with the network?
I have the same problem with my Verizon treo 755p. It will dial but I can't hear anything from the other end. I can receive calls but when I answer, I can't hear the person on the other end. I guess I need to visit Verizon to have them look at it or give me another phone.

you have a prob in signal reception. it is hardware related. if you can open your phone, try checking its antena connection probably it lost its contact to the board. or worst it has a problem on its hardware parts.
if you can't open your phone have it repaired to technicians coz it is mostly hardware related...
