Question about liftmaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Transmitter 300MC
NORMALLY THIS IS CAUSED BY THE WIRE TO THE WALL CONTROL BUTTON BEING SMASHED BY A STAPLE. LOOSEN ALL STAPLES SO THAT THE WIRE CAN SLIDE EASILY UNDERNEATH SHIFT THE WIRE ABOUT AN INCH TO BE SURE NO STAPLES ARE OVER A SMASHED AREA OF INSULATION,
IF THE WIRE GOES BEHIND SHEETROCK ETC, IT SHOULD BE REPLACED, THIS CAN BE SURFACE RUN.
THIS PROBLEM IS OFTEN CAUSED BY A WIRE THAT WAS RUN ON THE SURFACE OF THE STUDS AND THEN SHEETROCKED OVER.
HOPE THIS HELPS
