I assume, then, that you have sound? When you change volume, do you see the volume display showing? If you see the display, then you have a video problem. If you do not see the display, then you have a high voltage problem. Your picture tubes are not the problem. Please reply and we can go from there.

The high voltage system has failed. And, maybe the horizontal deflection amplifier as well.
The repair cost will be at least $200 and maybe much more.
The projection tubes could be going as well, although they have a tendency to last a long time. If, however, they are worn down, the replacement cost is very, very expensive.

So the only solution to fix the problem is to get it repaired by a technician.

Please don't forget to rate the solution.

Press power button green light comes on.But no picture no sound,

I have had my WS-65511 fail like this, first at 4 years, second 2 weeks later, then 3rd time yesterday (4/14/2009). In past, the tech replaced a thermal sensor p/n 299P313010A (but Mitsubishi says that part is not for WS-65511 and that it does not have a thermal sensor - go figure). It is a white rectangle with about 30 pins in 2 rows and is soldered onto a board in the TV. List price is about $25. Might be your problem.
