Bad pressure switch

I have a Cambell Hausfeld Pressure washer PW181000AV .
I can bypass this switch and the unit will run. I replaced the springs inside the unit with the closest spring i could find. ( the original springs were broken). When you run the unit it will run until the switch acuates and then will not reset.

I have a gas powered 2200 PSI Cambell Hausfeld pressure washer when i try use it the pressure pulses up an down the complete time you hold the trigger down an ideal what i should look for Thinks

Quite often this can be caused by low water supply. Check the filter that the supply hose plugs in to and make sure your water supply has plenty of pressure and volume. There will be a water volume rating in litres per min (lt/min) or (gal/hr) depending on what part of the world you live in. You need to have at least that amount plus half again feeding the machine under a reasonable pressure 6ft/lb Gravity fed from a tank won't cut it. If it is vibrating and hardly working there is grit stuck under one of the valves which isn't a biggie but if you don't know how to disassemble the pump valves take it to someone who does as there are small parts like springs etc that are easily lost. It won't break the bank to get someone to repair it. Cheers. Hope this helps.

I have a campbell hausfeld 2450 pressure washer with water coming out of a brass hose nozzel right next to where you screw the high pressure to the pump as soon as you turn the water on from the house,...

this is called the chemical injector which enables you to insert the hose for you to dispense the soap and or chemical by utilizing a soap nozzle .apparently inside this barb you will find a ball a spring and a o-ring,find the replacement parts or kit from its manufacturer.finding a plug to replace it is not recommended due to the fact that the pitch of thread is hard to find.replace asap this unit relies on trap pressure to unload.

I have a cambell hausfeld 5.5 horsepower pressure washer that leaks a milky substance from the bottom of the motor. Why is that?

The "milky solution" could be oil that's been contaminated with water. You may have a bad seal within the pump, allowing water to mix with the oil...

Cambell Hausfeld model wl506201aj compressor Hums when switched on

This could be caused by one of two things:
- a stuck or broke tank check valve. This would be evident if the compressor starts up when there is no pressure in the tanks but only hums when the tank pressure is up. Some valves can be cleaned and will work for a while but they usually have to be replaced.
- motor start capacitor. If the capacitor is bad it won't get the motor spinning, with or without pressure in the tanks. You can test it by taking the shroud off the pump and carefully bumping the motor to get it turning. Be careful, it may run up to full speed right away. If it runs replace the capacitor, if not you may have a burnt or shorted motor.

Breaker keeps popping when I start unit

If the unit isn't even starting up and running you have an internal motor problem, either you have wires that are crossed, switch that is bad or capacitor that is bad. Most of the time on a unit like this it is not worth going to and repairing, for the price that it cost for the parts you are better off just purchasing a new machine.

Will only get to 60 psi what do I need

Most compressors are operated with a shutoff pressure switch to stop it when it gets up to pressure. They are usually adjustable with a screw under the cover. Unplug the unit, remove the pressure switch cover, and look for a screw or bolt that has a spring under the head and is attached to the contact unit. The more pressure you put on the spring, the higher the air pressure.
