Question about Maytag MFI2568AES Stainless Steel Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator

I Have Maytag mfi2568aes I replaced both the HV Board and the LV Board now I cannot program the board. Please help

    Sea Breeze I am sorry about the frustrated statement and that I offended you. I Apologize to you. What I have found with the help of your tech information is: The touch pad would not allow the programing, I replaced the touch pad and was able to program the code. Still no cold. I went through all the system testing and still no cold. Then decided to check the compressor for operation and found that the start relay cap combo was bad I am replacing it today. We'll see if that is the total fix or not. Your links were the KEY to the fix. Thank you

    I apologize for my frustrated comment and rating. What I have found is the the inability to program was due to a bad touch pad. Now I have programed it and still no cold. with the help of your tech links I have found that the Starter relay cap combo is bad. I am replacing it today. I beleve I had many defects. Thank you for your help.

On most the motherboard will reset itself once unplugged. I believe you need to test the low voltage power supply transformer. This by far will not be a one answer solution so if you could follow through the service manual and technical notes with me I will be glad to assist you. Any time a board is disconnected on your model the motherboard should reset back to factory settings once disconnected from a power supply. Hope you have not discarded the old boards and you can put them back in and see if something is different. Let me know later what you decide to do.     I offered you assitance and you did not ask for help from me. I am trying to understand what your meaning of help is to ask and leave no response other than somewhat helpful. HV board problem. replaced board, but can not reprogram to enter new code. what do I do?

I recently had the identical problem after replacing the high voltage control board myself. Although display looked normal, no response to programming attempts. All I could think of was that the low voltage board under the display ppanel was also bad and was about to go out and buy it ($240 locally) when I ddecided to check its connections first. Took off the display panel, unplugged the 4 connectors, plugged them all back in. When I powered up the fridge, it responded to the programming directions and has been working normally except the ice-maker made one batch of ice and then just stopped. Now I have to try figuring that one out.

All the lights on the front panel are blinking. What do I need to do?

You need to replace the HV Control Board on the unit. These boards have several issues with them. The board is located on the backside of the unit.

If you have a warranty, you'll need to call for service.

Here is the part you need if you decide to do it yourself, it's very easy and the part should come with instructions to program it back to normal state.

I replaced my HV Control Board on my maytag

First did you program the board correctly and second make sure all the connections to the board you replaced are in correctly.

Blinking board and flapping ice dispenser.

We called Maytag customer service and they resolved our problem and is sending us a new control board and sending out a technican to our home to install at no charge! What great service! Thank you Maytag!

You have a bad high voltage board call the manufacturer, if the unit is under 2 yrs old they may help cover the repair with the problem your having.

Usually the owners manual would show the error codes so check there first. As for the compressor running, it "should" be cooling if the compressor is running. But lets go back a little, why was the HV board replaced?
