Pfaff 360 Trying to get a Pfaff 360 working without a mnual. It seems to be locked up, can rotate the mechanism with the handwheel about 2 degrees either way. Is there a travel lock or some other kind of release mechanism? machine seems to be in good overall condition, no rust or other corosion. Is there a website with an online manual for this machine?

You can try; http://groups.yahoo.com/group/oldpfaffpforum/.
I did a google search on "Pfaff 360 User Manual" and found different manuals on the internet, but they want $10 and up for these. I believe someone can help you at the pfaff forum for free. Good luck to you.

I believe your machine is an older mechanical machine. If so, how long since it has been serviced--cleaned and thoroughly oiled? These old machines need TLC to keep running. I prefer using liquid Tri-Flow Synthetic Lube from the hardware store. Hand rotate the handwheel and apply one or two drops every place where metal rubs on metal. Avoid plastic, rubber, or leather. In your case, the feed dogs may be seized due to old oil that has dried, but it's likely that is happening elsewhere as well.

The flywhee on my pfaff 1471 seems to have disengaged after unsuccessfully winding a bobbin. The motor goes but the needle does not go. What to do?

Did you turn the knob inside the hand wheel backwards while holding the wheel itself? If that knob is in the correct position, did you hear it snap into place when you rotated the hand wheel towards yourself? Does the needle bar move up and down when you rotate the hand wheel?

I suspect that the needle bar is still disengaged from the motor mechanism. The manual is available from Pfaff on the creative 1471 page: http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Machines/creative-1471 . The direct link to the manual is http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/creative1471-manual-EN.pdf . See page 13 of the PDF for the picture of the direction and position of the knob that should be checked.

If the machine still doesn't work, it may be that the belt is bad. This connects the shaft of the motor to the mechanism that runs the needle bar. You can find a parts list for the 1471 here: https://www.universalsewing.com/tek9.asp?pg=parts_pfaff . Scroll down to find the various 1471 diagrams. The belts are probably available at most Pfaff or other sewing machine dealers. This page, https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/pfaff-1471-sewing-machine-parts.aspx , is one source. You want the motor belt.

I hope this helps.

How do I engage the bobbin winding gear for Pfaff 7570?

To disengage the needle while winding a bobbin do the following: the handwheel on the right end of the machine has an inner knob. hold the outer rim of the handwheel stationary as you rotate the inner knob counterclockwise. Also make sure the bobbin winding peg is pushed over to the right and the bobbin is seated on the peg.

The timing has been knocked off when it jammed. The only way to
correct this is to take it to a shop and have it retimed. This is common on these machines.

My pfaff 7530 was working just fine......but I sewed on a sweatshirt and the bobbin locked up and now it won't move. I took out the bobbin and cleaned in there but still not working. Any ideas?

Clearance in bobbin area is small and it gets lint balled up in there. If polyester lint, it could even have melted and welded the space tight. Try turning handwheel backwards...really hard...and it will usually loosen up, then clean out the bobbin area. If you have compressed air, use that to blow it out.
