I've installed rhapsody and samsung media studio to put videos on my samsung t10 but they don't work. every time I drag and drop videos to my T10, it says "program not responding" it says it in rhapsody and samsung media studio. i cant add any thing to it using those programs. I can only put music and pictures on it using windows media player 11 but I cant put videos in it using that program because it says it cant convert it to the desired format. I have reinstalled both programs (media studio and rhapsody) 2 times but they still don't work.instead of installing media studio with the installation cd, I went to www.samsung.com and downloaded samsung media studio from there but the same problems occur. CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM? OR TELL ME DIFFERENT WAYS TO PUT VIDEOS IN IT?? IF YOU CAN, PLEASE TELL ME.
You have to add the videos file into your samsung media player...you can either add mp4 files, or wmv, or avi videos player, and the samsung media player will convert all that videos to svi. which will work with your player. its simple with the videos actully...
Hey man! I cannot directly answer your question yet because I haven't done much with video for the T10 yet. Like you, I tried a couple with WMP and one worked while the other didn't. I did find what looks like a very good conversion program that might fix your problems. It's at:

Hi. In order to put videos on the Samsung T9 player, you need to use the included software (Samsung Media Studio 5) to convert the video to the .svi format that the player recognizes. You didn't say if you'd used that software or not, so I can't be more specific about a solution until you let me know exactly what you've tried so far. If you don't have the software, it or it's follow-on should be available on the Samsung support website. Just use that to convert it and then put it into the Video folder in your player (drag and drop). I've loaded videos as large as 50 minutes on mine and it worked just fine. Good luck!
1. Download Video Download Studio, install it.
2. Go to the interface, you can download (Automatic capture) the YouTube video there directly. Tab Download to Convert, you can also click "Add" button to upload the videos from computer. You can also edit video by trim and crop functions.
3. After the video display on the Video Download Studio, click "Profile" and choose "General audio", then select an MP3 format. Set destination file, clicking Convert button to complete the task.
Not only convert video to MP3, but also support batch conversion. Safe and easy to operate. No Viruses, No Spyware, No Adware. Do not hesitate. Have a try!
youre using Samsung Media Studio 5 right?
what i do is
1 unplug T10
2 right click video file
3 left click Convert file
4 select save folder you will remember
5 select service model T10
6 click convert
7 drag and drop the .svi into video folder on T10 in explorer
The video must be a MPG (MPEG), AIV, WMV, ASF, SVI, MP3, RM (RMVB), MOV or SMF type of video. If it is not, try and find or download a video converter. Also remember on Samsung Media Studio click menu, enviorment settings, general configuration, my PC and make sure that you have checked in all the checkboxes of video file types
You have to update the driver of you player. Click on START menu and RUN. Type in devmgmt.msc and click ENTER. Now you Device Manager will pop up. Look for your player under Other Devices or Portable Devices Once you find it, right click on it and select Update Driver (make sure the installer disc is in your CD drive). It should work fine after that.
It converts videos directly to Samsungs svi format. Only thing you have to remember is to change the right Samsung version from the Options menu (in my case it is Samsung YP-T10). After conversion you can copy your svi videos directly to Samsungs video folder.
use the samsung media studio or rhapsody to put videos in it that's the only way. ive tried it with media player, and it doesn't work. the bad thing about it is that the video size is like 14 to 20 mb when it's in the player use the installation cd it came with to get rhapsody and the pther program. if you dont have it, you can download samsung media studio in samsung.com
