Question about Acer Aspire M5100 AM5100-U5313A AMD Desktop PC - AMD Phenom X4 9500 Quad Core Processor 2.2GHz, 3GB
I may need to replace a PC's power supply. Are off-the-shelf power supplies generic? Or specific to a PC manufacturer and model? The PC is an Acer M5100.

According to Acer's website:
The computer uses an industry standard 250W power supply so yes as long as you buy one that has all the connectors you need then you'll be fine.
