With the phone in standby, enter 2945#*7101# this will activate the extra menu> then go:
Settings>Security>SimLock>Network select deactivate this is where you can enter your SPCK code.
You need to phone your network provider for this SPCK code after you have activated this hidden option (7) as shown above.
It will cost you £15 and you will need your phones IMEI number *#06# it will look something like this xxxxxx-01-442788-1-15 not all phones will unlock this way as the network provider has to get this code from LG.
Virgin Mobile : 0845 6000789 or 789
If you decide to go a reputable Mobile Phone shop they will do it for £10 and will take about 1 minute notice that the Virgin Operator will now be T-Mobile for your existing SIM it will still work with your Virgin SIM (I suggest you bin it bad reception and network busy all the time) use either O2 SIM (the best reception) or Orange SIM (for Orange Wednesdays and slightly better reception than you Virgin SIM)
What is Your LG Phone model, which country's virgin network it's locked now?Get the Unlock code from the site Theunlockarena.com/lg-unlocking-service/rs13wp10/ and Unlock it from network lock easily..Then use with any GSM Network sim card...Virgin has CDMA Network service also..That cannot be unlocked..Only GSM Virgin Can be Unlocked easily.
Even thought your phone is unlocked from virgin the software is still a virgin viewity software. your can try and press on the arrows <<<<>>>>> at the bottom of the screen when the come up this will allow you to remove the network label but not on startup that requres a mobile shop to reflash the phone with generic software which will cost up to £25 shop around
