- I have a 51 in rear projection hitachi HDTV and for some reason the screen has green lines on it with no picture but you can here the volume of the program playing. Any suggestions to what this may be??- benshook85Feb 12, 2009

- I have a 6 year old mitsubishi 65" rear projection tv and am having the same problem. Its normal for the first hour or so, then the whole screen turns bright green. Volume still works. The tv goes back to normal after turnign it off then back on again.Im afraid something is wearing out. Please help me fix this before it gets worse.- Guest

Have a KP 51WS500 about 4 years old that just started doing this...picture color is normal when tv is cold and first turned on then color starts to shift slightly to yellow/green then back to normal. After about an hour the whole color is off to the yellow/green side but still can see blue where it is supposed to be i.e. sky or blue sign etc. We had to reset the red convergence last year and then a few months ago I noticed the green lines start to appear. Tried to reset the green, and lines disappeared but color is still bad. I'm thinking the whole convergence board is going. Any ideas out there and cost of parts?

after i turned the tv on the screen start turning green and then the hole screen is green but i have sound.please somebody help me with this....

Sony TV is green when on cable box HDMI input but sound is fine. This all happened after watching a movie on PS3 and then switching back to cable.
