Question about Computers & Internet
From the description of the problem, it seems that the Windows Media player has been assigned a shortcut key or the Media key on the laptop is accidentally getting pressed.
You can remove the Windows Media Player from the Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
When you open the "Add or Remove Programs" menu, Windows Media Player will be listed as "Windows Media Player 11". Click on the Remove button to uninstall it.
Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa
