    Hi,
ZEN is the first Creative player to support unprotected AAC format, so you can enjoy up to 8,0001 of your favorite CD tracks that you've ripped through iTunes software. ZEN also supports iTunes Plus tracks from the iTunes store, in addition to MP3 and WMA music tracks. It is also compatible with music subscription services such as Napster To Go and Rhapsody. However, ZEN could not play the protected .M4P files from iTunes directly. If you want to play iTunes protected .m4p or WMA files with your Creative MP3 Players - ZEN. This guide may help.
Since the music files you purchased from iTunes stores are protected by DRM, you could NOT play them on your Creative MP3 Players directly. And you could NOT also convert the DRM protected music files to MP3 or WMA directly with iTunes media player. However, iTunes allow you to burn the protected music files to CD-R or CD-RW disc to make a standard audio cd. TuneClone installs a virtual CD burner on your PC, and let you convert the protected music to unprotected MP3 files automatically. Then you can transfer the unprotected MP3 files to Creative MP3 Players. TuneClone is the software you are looking for if you have a big collection of iTunes music files to be transferred. TuneClone uses a virtual CD burning and simulate the burning, ripping process for you. All you need to do is install TuneClone and then burn your playlist to TuneClone virtual CD burner, TuneClone will convert the music files to MP3 for your directly. It is fast and all the artist, album and title information are preserved perfectly.
    Thank you!

tHANKSMay 14, 2010 - Hi, Can you be more clear with your problem.May 14, 2010 - Not sure I can other than to say , I have always plugged my Zen into my USB port and opened Itunes, on the left my MP3 player would open and I could organizxe the music that was listed on it, right in Itunes !!May 14, 2010 - Hi, I am very sorry to say that the only portable music player that iTunes supports is iTunes. So if you download iTunes and your music from the iTunes Music Store you basically have to get an iPod to listen to music. Now to sync to any other player you will need to use some other software. If it was only to transfer music to your Zen I would say use MediaMonkey, but it doesnt support video/video-sync. So on that note I would say use whatever software came with the Zen .
    Thank you!

Hello,

i-tunes is mainly for Apple I-pod mp3 player, but some Creative Zen player are allowed to work with I-tunes. The Creative Zen player only support I-tunes plus, that means if you are not using I-tunes plus on your computer, then don't expect your Zen player to work on I tunes.

Also is your Zen player is not :ZEN X-Fi Series, ZEN 2GB / 4GB / 8GB / 16GB / 32GB, ZEN Stone Plus with built-in speaker, it won't work.

So make sure you install I-tunes plus on your computer and try again. You can visit the link below, in order t guide you on how to install your Creative Zen with I-tunes plus:

To download I-tunes plus from: www.apple.com

Good luck.

Okay, does your computer recognize your player? That is, when you insert the player into your computer, does it show in "My computer"?

Your computer has to recognize the player first, before your I-tunes can recognize it. So check "My computer" from your desktop, if your computer recognizes the player, then maybe the problem is from your i-tunes software, You should uninstall I-tunes, restart your computer, and re-install i-tunes again.

So let me know first, if your computer is recognizing your player, so that I can direct you further.

I look forward to your reply.

    Bye for now.

    Hello,

this means, the problem is from i-tunes software/program. Uninstall the i-tunes program, restart your computer, reinstall the i-tunes, connect your player and try again.

Let me know what happens when you do this.

    Take care.

1 . Well I have tried everything you proposed with stil no solution. I set all the Audio and Video settings to Itunes as the default. One thing I can't seem to change is, when Itunes opens it alos opens Windows Media Player and my Zen is showing there and completes a sync when I plug it in ??

    2. For some reason I am getting an error message when I try to open a link in Outlook Mail, I can open an attachment but not a link. I have researched this and all fixes will not work, i.e., problem is due to a corrupt registry key related to Windows Internet Explorer, Not, peole told me it is because the Link was nt properly sent from the originator of the email, when I get it in lots of different emails, lame reason I think, any way it states ( This operation has been cancelled due to restictions set on this computer ).

    3. Why am I not the Administrator on my own computer and can we change that ??

    Thanks a Bunch !!!

    E .

My Creative Zen 4gb will not appear in Itunes ?

Hello,

To convert iTunes music for Creative ZEN, you shall download TunePat audio converter from a website. You shall run TunePat audio converter and iTunes simultaneously and set TunePat as the default burning drive for iTunes. You may also create an iTunes playlist to hold the songs you want to convert for Creative ZEN.
Once the conversion is completed, you can find the MP3 or WMA songs in the output folder, with all ID3 tags and album information intact. Then you can open Creative MediaSource and sync the converted to your Creative ZEN player.

Take care.

Your was Creative brought with its own software, wasn't it? Well, this software isn't compatible with Mac. However, you can use a free app so you can still use your creative. http://www.wentnet.com/projects/xnjb/

Unable to sync music purchased from itunes onto zen mp3

I believe iTunes may not like to sync with not apple players, but I am sure DRM protection is to blame here. You can try to sync your music with the software provided by Zen, or a program called MediaMonkey, to see if it works.
Otherwise, if the music is DRM protected .mp4, you can always burn the songs into a standard AUDIO CD, and then rip the music back to your computer, that way it loses the DRM protection, and should be easy to sync without problems.

I can't download my iTunes music to my creative zen jukebox mp3 player.

Not all Zen jukeboxes are compatible with iTunes (possibly 100% are not) - convert the .AAC format songs from iTunes with an AAC to Mp3 Converter, and you should be fine. Or, use a different music service that is compatible with your Zen. Or, get an iPod. Whichever you prefer.

I have never used anything but the software that came with the Zen to upload the music to the Zen. There is also new firmware out for the Zen that you could try to use.
