- My true catagory was not available so I fudged and said calculators but my real problem is my Casio cash register. I no longer have the owners manual and today it started beeping when any key was pushed in both the 'REG.' setting and the 'Z' setting. It displays a code 'E1' on the 'Z' stting and code '1' on the 'REG' setting. PLease help!!! Thank you Juliajc

- I was in error the code on the 'REG' setting is 'E' Juliajc
E01 usually shows if you change the key position without clearing out register. Try going to each mode and pressing subtotal and then cash until the drawer opens. See if that helps.

Hi, so my batteries died and I replaced them with brand new batteries (and yes they're in the correct way) and it won't turn on. I also tried replacing the CR1616 batteries and it still won't turn on. any advice?
