Icannot open folder, it gives an erro wiindows cannot find 'microsoft.vbs.'make sure you type correctly and try again

Hi,
1. How are you sure that this must be because of window installer package?
2. Are you able to install any other softwares on your computer?
This happens if the scripting runtime filevbscript.dll is not registered correctly in the system.
Try the method 1 and check if you are able to install windows cleanup utility.

Method 1: a. Click on start button, type cmd. In the search result right-click on cmd and selectRun as administrator.
b. Type cd %windir%\system 32 (Note: there is a space between system and 32) and press enter.
c. Type regsvr32 vbscript.dll in command prompt and press enter.
d. Type regsvr32 jscript.dll in command prompt and press enter.
If the registration was successful, you should now see the following message:
DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded.
e. Now right-click on windows cleanup utility setup file and select Run as administrator.

Method 2: Perform sfc scan on your computer.
Refer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

I would suggest you to re-download the java software and try installing it.

Integrated using nm10

Trying to run OS X 10.8 on a computer with an Atom and NM10 chipset? Should be OK as long as your CPU is one of the 64 bit ones. Try the latest chameleon package and build a boot USB stick with kernel patcher module is installed - 10.8.2 should install fine.

How do i download missing firmware for ubuntu

Loading Missing Firmware As described in the section called "Devices Requiring Firmware", some devices require firmware to be loaded. In most cases the device will not work at all if the firmware is not available; sometimes basic functionality is not impaired if it is missing and the firmware is only needed to enable additional features.
If a device driver requests firmware that is not available, debian-installer will display a dialog offering to load the missing firmware. If this option is selected, debian-installer will scan available devices for either loose firmware files or packages containing firmware. If found, the firmware will be copied to the correct location (/lib/firmware) and the driver module will be reloaded.
note.png Which devices are scanned and which file systems are supported depends on the architecture, the installation method and the stage of the installation. Especially during the early stages of the installation, loading the firmware is most likely to succeed from a FAT-formatted floppy disk or USB stick.
Note that it is possible to skip loading the firmware if you know the device will also function without it, or if the device is not needed during the installation.
warning.png Support for loading firmware is still relatively basic and is likely to be improved in future releases of the installer. Currently debian-installer will for example not display any warning if you choose to load missing firmware, but the requested firmware is not found. Please report any issues you encounter by filing an installation report (see the section called "Submitting Installation Reports").
Preparing a medium Although in some cases the firmware can also be loaded from a partition on a hard disk, the most common method to load firmware will be from some removable medium such as a floppy disk or a USB stick. The firmware files or packages must be placed in either the root directory or a directory named /firmware of the file system on the medium. The recommended file system to use is FAT as that is most certain to be supported during the early stages of the installation.
Tarballs containing current packages for the most common firmware are available from:
Just download the tarball for the correct release and unpack it to the file system on the medium.
If the firmware you need is not included in the tarball, you can also download specific firmware packages from the (non-free section of the) archive. The following overview should list most available firmware packages but is not guaranteed to be complete and may also contain non-firmware packages:

It is also possible to copy individual firmware files to the medium. Loose firmware could be obtained for example from an already installed system or from a hardware vendor.
Firmware and the Installed System Any firmware loaded during the installation will be copied automatically to the installed system. In most cases this will ensure that the device that requires the firmware will also work correctly after the system is rebooted into the installed system. However, if the installed system runs a different kernel version from the installer there is a slight chance that the firmware cannot be loaded due to version skew.
If the firmware was loaded from a firmware package, debian-installer will also install this package for the installed system and will automatically add the non-free section of the package archive in APT's sources.list. This has the advantage that the firmware should be updated automatically if a new version becomes available.
If loading the firmware was skipped during the installation, the relevant device will probably not work with the installed system until the firmware (package) is installed manually.
note.png If the firmware was loaded from loose firmware files, the firmware copied to the installed system will not be automatically updated unless the corresponding firmware package (if available) is installed after the installation is completed.

hope this helps

Bought Print Workshop 2007 LE online and down loaded it, but when I try to get clip art it tells me I need to insert disk. I don't have a disk!!! Am I going to have to spend more $ for a disk. It cost...

Try re-downloading the software (it should be free to re-download since you have already paid for it). Try to get clip art again. when it says insert disk, it should show a browse button where you can map to the file you just downloaded. if that doesn't work, run the installation file and do a custom install. You should be able to install the clip art through there.

Hi Ghosh.

Cause of this problem may be:

This behavior can occur because of damaged random access memory (RAM) modules or a damaged RAM slot.

To resolve this issue, use one or more of the following methods, as necessary:
  • Remove one or more of the RAM modules in your computer, leaving at least the minimum amount of RAM required for Windows XP installation. If this resolves the issue, either replace these modules with new RAM modules or reinsert them after Setup is completed.

NOTE: Verify that your computer's performance is not affected when you reinsert the old RAM modules.

    -or-
  • Install the RAM modules into different (unused) RAM slots in your computer.

  • If you still experience problems before or after Setup, replace all of your computer's RAM modules with new RAM modules.

Microsoft Word 2007 would not allow me to insert clipart into the document I created.

hi,

Please verify that your office installation contains the cliparts modules installed on your system, else, you need to re-install and customize the installation to include clipart module as well.

Need some more info, if the problem still persists:

I got your problem but to get into the root cause I'll need more details viz.
1. Installation type of your Office 2007 package (typical, full, custom); just to make sure that you have cliparts installed with office package.
2. It would be more easy for us, if you can provide us the screen shot as well of the problem.
