Error message on screen: "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"

In the bios be sure the boot sequence starts with the hard drive, and that the hard drive is recognized by the bios, if both of these are true than you may need to re install windows.

Install iso cpu bios

Hello here is the download page:

Here is a youtube video how to change the boot order:

In the BIOS Setup program, the user can choose to boot from a hard drive, optical drive, removable drive, or the network.
The default setting is for the optical drive to be the first boot device, the hard drive second, removable drive third, and the network fourth.
Remember to save your settings, when leaving the bios.
If the boot order change when you power off, the cmos battery must be renewed:

The battery is a watch type Cr 2032, and cost a few dollars.
Remember to place the new battery, as shown on the picture.

Good luck

When i install any OS "hard disk was not found" error is occuring.what is the reason for it?.

Hello Charles:
The reason your PC is saying "hard disk not found is because it isn't seeing any hard drives in your system. If your using a CD or DVD to install your OS you need to go into your Bios and set your boot settings to boot from CD-Rom first, that way it will boot from the CD or DVD first and then it will hopefully see your hard drive and start installing once it has performed its system checks.
Hope this helps, if you need more assistance just holler back.
Sincerely, Peter N.

Hi I'm having problems installing windows 7 on my computer I think it may have something dealing with my motherboard I m running a MSI P55M-GD41 mother board with intel i5-661 processor and 4GB of 2 2GB...

One bad lead will cause your computer to shut down or continue in a cycle
replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your motherboard to your hard drive
hope this helps

My computer dont have the driver of audio sound

You need to power it up and get it to post, you should have a CD that came with the mobo and cpu, if not download one onto a floppy, flash drive or CD and install like any other driver.

The green led light on the motherboard mean the board has stand- by power to it. (This is normal).
You stated you installed a new CPU.
The high pitch you heard could mean you did not add thermal grease or thermal tap between the processor & the heat-sink assembly. (A must have product). When you press the power on button on the case & nothing seems to run, Re check your memory & as Smithbrother suggested insert one stick of memory at a time & try powering up the system. If you have an AGP card already installed, re-move it & re-seat it.
Intel list a bios update. This update is for - B-0014.
Fixed the issue with booting using 2.0Ghz processor.
Your new CPU of 1.7 is close. (Not sure if this will fix your problem. Save flashing the bios as a last ditch effort).
Here is the Intel link for your motherboard;*+XP+Home+Edition&lang=eng&strOSs=45&submit=Go%21
Just in case I'll include a YouTube video on how to install a CPU;

Good luck!

After installing new motherboard and processor my pc doesn't booting. no beeping, no display, no sound but it seem it works, because the cpu fan run well.

Hi achmadjanupe, please include in this post the manufacture & model number of your new motherboard. (That will help a lot).
You must first clear the cmos by moving the cmos jumper to clear & wait at least 10 seconds, than move the jumper back to normal. (See your manual for this).
After installing a new motherboard & CPU it is not uncommon for windows not to boot & you will not hear a POST beep. Try removing your system memory & reseating it. If you have an AGP or PCI-Express video card, do the same. If you are using the same hard disk drive from the older MB & CPU you'll have to do a fresh install of windows, (Including a format of your hdd). Its a very bad idea to install newer drivers over old drivers for a newer board.
The only exception to this would be if the new motherboard is exactly the same as the old motherboard. Once you gain display, go directly into the bios & make sure your hdd is listed in the boot order.
If your hard disk drive is large enough. You can add a new partition within the free space of your drive & install your new windows onto that partition. When you boot to your windows CD follow the instructions on screen to create a new partition within the free space of your hdd. By doing this you'll be able to save all the old data within your old windows drive. You'll be able to copy & past your old data over to your new installation. Once all your data has been copied to your new windows you can delete the old windows & old partition by booting again with the windows CD. Windows can delete the old partition.
There is far too much information, drivers & registry information already in windows. If you try to run your old windows with the new board it will go crazy & you’ll have nothing but trouble.

Good luck achmadjanupe!
This will take some time to complete.
I'm sure you may have more questions, post them here.
