Question about Lexmark X6570 InkJet Printer
Posted by Anonymous on
I presume your printer is the Lexmark X6570 since your post is under this model. Hope you got it working now. If not, unplug the printer from your computer, then you have to reset the printer's network adapter first. To do that, press Settings on the printer > Network Setup > Wireless Setup > Reset Network Adapter to Factory Defaults. Wifi light will momentarily turn off then lights up solid orange. Then, install the printer software. I suggest you use the updated software from the Lexmark website. But check if you're Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by clicking on the Windows logo Start menu > right click on Computer > Properties. For the software, click on this link: http://bit.ly/ceCRRC (for 32-bit) or http://bit.ly/9zdsT4 (for 64-bit). Download and install the software. Follow the instructions. Hope this helps. If you need more assistance, leave a comment and I'll get back to it. Thanks.
