-   Same problem. My screen doesn't work. It looks alright at the start and then changes if I press any button and keeps changing til the picture disappears. The programs seem fine though.

Sounds much to me like a ribbon problem.(Needs replacing).
Go on Ebay and type in G800 repair and you will find a company who will do this for you much cheaper than phone shop.
