First go here and download a manuel http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/product_literature/search_results.jsp?searchTerm=GHW9150P&siteCd=WHRCOM then at the bottom of the page download a parts list and keep them both the parts list will show you how the machine is put togeather and are you sure the code is not fh .fh is the code for not enough water in the machine its not filling in the time alloted check the screens on the water valves make sure the lines are open all the way and the hoses arent kinked get a bucket and open the hoses in it to check your water flow out of both lines look for slow fill or weak pressure let me know what you find it could also be that one of the water valves are bad if its not filling in rinse and you have hot wash cold rinse selected then the cold valve could be bad

What does the F and H mean

Do you mean "HF"?
According to the manual HF means water inlet problem.
-Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer.
-Are faucets completely turned on?
-Are screens at inlet hose connection clogged?
-Are hoses kinked?
-Are inlet hoses frozen?
Plug in washer, re-select cycle and press START. If the problem remains, call for service.
Or you can post the problem at Repair Clinic. They might be able to help further, and they sell parts if you need.

What does it mean when the machine stops mid cycle and H and then F displays in the digital window?

I think that means NO, Hot water Flow (HF)
Try this Hold the "Start" button IN while you Switch ON.
Also check this out pull the water lines filters to check the screens, and the cold water line for crud in it

Stops Mid-Cycle: Error code is blinking ?H? then ?F?

FH, in mid cycle most likely your pump is blocked, hit drain/spin and see if water drains, if not clean pump

Hotpoint wm53 unknown problem

Hi.
Unplug the motor and try it again, if it does not trip, then the prob is the motor, could be worn carbons.
Re the noise, remove belt, and spin drum round by hand, if it is noisy and rumbling, then main bearings have failed, quite a big job to put right.
Please rate my comments.
Thanks.

Door Locked. Cannot open. Washine inside.

Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds.

Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.

Works for other machines..............And please rate me if helped
