Very simple system my man. the brake handle connected to the master cylinder connected to the brake line connected to the calipers via the plumbing in between. so check your fluid level first if its low then top off and bleed those babies. also check the pads because as the pads wear the piston in the caliper moves further out so more room in the system so lower fluid level or you got a leak. or the master cylinder is bad. start with the obvious and dig deeper good luck and let me know tell me more about the malfunction too

Tail light and foot pedal brake light does not work but hand lever brake light works.

Probably a bulb/ rear brake switch combination. If your front brake switch is working, then half of the bulb is working. No taillight issue, probably a bulb. No rear brake light, probably the rear brake switch. Located on the lower right rear of the frame, behind the exhaust. Check for power on the orange/white wire at switch. If you have that then check for power on the other terminal of the switch while pushing on the pedal. The rear brake switch is hydraulically operated so you must have adequate pressure to activate it.

torx srews 2 different sizes take your time ,some tiny screws in there and pay close att to wire placement undo brakeline remove srews holding leverclamp and remove assembly it is not neccessary to remove switch housing but they must be sepperated to remove the brake lever ***. note:bleeding the brakes takes lots of time and patience somtimesjust keep bleeding and it will come and make sure you use the right fluid for your year and model and also when you get to the otherside buy a book youll need it for clutch cable adjustment

Front brake light stays on

Your nipple button under your hand grip is not disengageing when you release brake grip. The switch is staying in instead of popping back out. Spray some wd-40 in their. Its between the brake perch and the brake lever.

95 road king brake light does not work taillight works changed

I take it it does not work foot or hand control. look for your brake light switch right side of frame rail usually a goldish color or silver color. it has two plug in connectors. Unplug and put a test light to them. apply either brake. If the light comes on then you have a bad brake switch. replace it. if you have foot brake and no hand brake light then it would most likely be the brake nipple in the hand switch. but you did not say so I assume no brakes foot or hand.

Front brakes failed

Is this using stock brake lines?  You could have kinked the metal tubing and possibly broke it when you straigthened it out.  I would suggest getting someone to help who knows what they're doing on brakes... pretty dangerous if you make a mistake.  With that said, the system *is* pretty darn simple.  The master cylinder is a pump and the caliper is the actuator.  If you have the reservoir filled with the correct fluid and the system has been bled properly, meaning no air in the lines, then unless it is leaking there is no reason you won't have brakes, unless the seals in the master are blown out.
If you need to start over... get a master cylinder seal kit, a caliper seal kit, and a bottle of the correct fluid from the dealer.  Both kits are around $20 and since your bike is 10 years old it wouldnt hurt to replace the seals.  Rebuild the master and the caliper according to the service manual instructions.  Also make sure you fully inspect the brake line to make sure you didnt kink it.

Brake lights stay on 07 hd fxdb

Have you changed your bars? Check the micro switch behind the brake lever in the housing. Might have moved a bit.
Check that both filaments of the brake light are good and one is not broken.
While you have the brake light cover off check the connectors into the main body of the light. On my Bob (same year) They all plug into there and can be unplugged easily and re-inserted. One might have not been put in all the way home on assembly.
Hope it helps.

Brake lights

check the brake light switch at the front level (right hand switch housing) or rear brake cylinder. One or both may be stuck. You may need to clean or replace.
