I'm assuming that you have an amp that you are installing these to. Its always tricky installing subs of different impedances. Do you have the model number of the amp that you are hooking them up to.
Most likely if you have a 2 channel amp, you would connect one sub to each channel as most amps can handle a 2ohm load in stereo, but don't bridge the amp with these two subwoofers without specific instruction from someone with experience as you will most likely overlad the amp. If you can be more specific with your set-up I'd be able to assist you more.

you can connect speakers up any way around ,if its one speaker with 4 connections then these extra 2 terminals are often for a continue through to the next speaker along the line ,.just use a small 9v battery and then connect to two terminals to find a bleep as you touch two of the terminals then you know where to put your wires
need more info well you need to look at the subwoofer and see how many watts it can take and if it 2 ohm or 4 ohms single or dual voice coils and on your amp is it mono or 2 channel and what is the omhs for it
if you get the 4ohm you can wire it to run a 2ohm an the kenwood amp will push 900 watts at 2ohms.they say it can push up to 1800 watts, that would be at 1ohm.that kenwood runs 500 at 4ohms an 900 at 2ohm.if you need help wiring the sub or anything else let me know bertman285@hotmail,com

Not to insult you in any way but u need to know how to wire into car's electrical system at the battery then to a fuse then to the amp and then output the signal from the deck to the amp.. finally to the subwoofer. you need to hook up 12V constant battery power , then remote from the deck ,ground wire from amp to chasis for power.. then wire to sub.
If you have the Alpine SWR-1222D, that's a dual 2 OHM Sub. So, the way you have it hooked up to the amp ,it's 1 Ohm, and unless your amp can safely operate at 1 OHM, you are better off connecting the voice coils in series so the amp will see 4 OHMS. The link below will show how the connections are made to the amp. Look at example # 1.
your speakers are hooked up wrong. hook both positives together and both negatives together and bridge it to the amp. if it is one channel hook it up as one together. if it is 2 channel hook positive to one side and negative to the other side.
