Question about Computers & Internet
Hi when i press power on my computer it make 4 beep and shut down.. i wanna know wich part of my computer is broken cpu ram powersupply motherboard or even videocard.. i lost my manual for the motherboard when i bought it so i can't check in that book for the reference of the sound that it make ! please help me out =)

When you post...make sure you tell us the make & model of what you need help with. In general, that code is a critical failure, cpu comes to mind. Make sure the cpu fan is working. Pull one ram stick out at a time, seeing if it boots as you go. Then if you have onboard video, pull the video card out & try the onboard out. If there are any add-on cards take them out one at a time & see if it boots. If it's a socket 775 intel, the cpu socket might have fried, replace the motherboard is the option there. Finally, if the manual is a necessary item, go to the maker's site & download it or search google for it.
