Compaq presario sr1830nx hdmi card

Most graphics cards nowadays have an HDMI port. How about just upgrading to a graphics card, or a better graphics card, that has one?

Graphics card has a Minimum requirement of 400 Watts.
This is power for the graphics card, AND the rest of the computer system. (Motherboard, Processor, Ram Memory, Optical drive/s, Computer case fan/s, etc)

Compaq Presario SR1830NX Desktop PC comes with a 300 Watt power supply, AND it is overrated.
Power is more like 60 to 70 percent of the stated maximum rated Wattage.

180 Watts to 210 Watts.

This example will work,

What video cards work well with sony rb43

The best video card for this motherboard depends upon what applications or games you intend to install on your computer.
There is no point in installing the best and most expensive video card in your computer if you do not need it.
I suggest you have a look at the applications and games you intens to use, these products will recommend the computer configuration and video card for their product.
Then go to the Internet to research to find what video cards are available and the prices from various suppliers.

How to build a or assemble a computer and troubleshoot?

Building a computer will require: a motherboard, a processor, memory, a video card or motherboard with onboard video, a sound card or motherboard with onboard sound, at least one hard drive, a CD or DVD drive, a case for the computer components, a power supply, fans to cool the computer, an operating system, a monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, 2-3 hours to assemble the computer.
You must ensure that all of the components are compatible with one another. After receiving the parts, lay everything out on a large, clean surface. Make sure you are grounded by touching a metal surface; this will prevent the transfer of static electricity to your computer components.
Typically, the steps to install the components are as follows: 1. mount the power supply in the case, 2. mount the motherboard 3. lock the processor in the socket on the motherboard 4. insert the memory sticks into the slots on the motherboard 5. mount the processor fan on the processor 6. insert the video card into the applicable slot on the motherboard 7. insert the hard drive into a hard drive bay in the case, 8. insert the CD drive into a CD drive bay, 9. mount any fans you have to the fan cutouts on the case 10. connect all applicable data cables to the CD and hard drives 11. connect all applicable power cables to the motherboard, video card, processor, hard drive, CD drive, and any other components. 12. connect the front panel USB, power, lights, and reset connectors to the motherboard 13. close the case 14. connect the power, monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse to the computer
Because this process is rather involved, I recommend following a guide such as this one: http://www.maximumpc.com/article/how-tos/how-_build_silent_gaming_pc
It details the process, includes pictures, and even provides a list of compatible parts.

How can i connect a seagate barracuda hard drive to a sony vaio desktop pcv-rz22g? i'm installing an a additional hard drive but can't seem to find a sata connector on the motherboard, so there's no way...

You can't find a SATA connector because there isn't one. That computer was built before SATA drives were widely available. You will need a Serial ATA controller PCI card to connect your SATA drive to your computer, such as here:
http://www.compusa.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=1455&name=Serial-ATA-Controllers&
Make sure it is a PCI card and NOT a PCI-Express (or PCI-e) card, as your computer doesn't have any PCI-Express slots either. Here's an example of what you need:
http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3501402&CatId=1455

Also, the Barracuda is probably a 3.0 Gbps drive, but will only run at the slower 1.5 Gbps speeds from the PCI interface cards. Again, it's an age thing. That computer was a top dog in it's day.

What is the best graphics card for my SR1502HM compaq computer.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and observe the motherboard illustration, and photo,

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00257657&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=501966

The best graphics card expansion slot on your motherboard is an AGP slot.
(The motherboard also has 3 PCI expansion slots)

It is an AGP 8X expansion slot.
[Scroll back up in the chart to the heading > Graphics connector (AGP) - 1 AGP 8X ]

These are a few examples of AGP 8X graphics cards that will work.

Which graphic card is suitable for my compaq presario sg1138il pc?

The type of graphics card you need depends upon the programs you are using.
For example if you only use your computer for simple wprd processing, e-mails etc. then you only need a low end graphics card.
If you have a high performance computer and you play graphics intensive video games that renders realistic images, then you need a high end graphics card and these cards will have large video RAM (memory).
There are a large range of graphics cards on the market, I suggest you Google search for graphics cards that matches your programs and application requirements.
If your model computer has an AGP expansion slot, then make sure the graphics cards are AGP cards.

Upgrade the existing graphics card. GEForce 4 MX440

Yes you can upgrade the card. For information regarding video card refer to website belwo

You can purchase teh AGP video card for the computer with higher memory.

Currently your video card is with 64Mb, try for 512MB or higher version. Do not go for PCI Express or PCI video card. The computer will support only AGP.
