You have to determine if this is a codec issue or a dvd rom drive issue try to burn a cd using music files if that works but does not burn movies the you need a replacement dvd rom drive.

Burning youtube videos to dvd without errors


Use a burning software like Nero. It is great and shall provide you the facility of easily burning as many videos as your disc can hold.

Also, if you are on windows, after downloading the videos, insert a DVD in your Burner and then simply copy paste the videos on the DVD disc. Paste as many you want to i.e. as many allowed with in the space of disc and then right click anywhere on an empty area and select BURN DISC.

you cant burn a disk with a dvd rom
you will need both a dvd rw unit and a dvd rw disk to burn any video to a disk if you have both of these the burning program might not support video burning or you might not have selected the right option there are lots of free burning software programs that can burn videos to a disk you might have to burn it as an ISO image

Hi i am not able to burn DVD's. I have tried differnt burning software's. However it is burning the CD's. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire thing still it is giving problem.


try the total video converter in coverting your video files and convert there your your file if it is a video and convert and burn there your file but stop the burn there in total video converter just burn your file in nero 8 coz its faster to burn

My dual xdvd700 wont play cd-r discs with music videos on them.


dual xdvd700 is a very picky device in order for you to play videos on a cd-r disc...you need need a burning software that have video burning capacity...don't just burn video as data copy/backup b/c dvd player won't recognize it. hope this help...
So it's base on how you burn your disc...NO data backup/copy ...use Video Burning instead
