Faxing redial problem

Sisrs/Madam:

I sent a fax message a few days past (manually) and do not know what happened. Firstly, I had installed the FAX system as an option when purchased. What I do know is everytime I turn on the machine - I thought as a re-boot of sort, it is trying to fax a document - like redial. What I really REALLY want is to permanently disable this feature. I want to send a fax, and if does not go thru, then I, and I alone will re-fax. No redial. First, please tell me how to turn off the [blanking] fax machine from trying to send this document and then how to permanently disable this annoying (to me anyway) feature. Many thanks in advance.
