I have no idea why you would go from an agp to a pci. Agp has like 8x the banwidth of pci.I'll assume the agp slot went bad. If you can get into bios before you lose the display, change the display from agp to "init pci first",save & re-boot. See if that works, then when in windows install the drivers right away. If that doesn't work, during boot at the splash screen, press f8 & select "safe mode" with networking. This should let you get into windows so you can remove the old agp drivers, then re-boot into safe mode again & install the new drivers. Then re-boot normal & you should be ok. If not, that board has a big problem.

Directions for Making Usb OS for windows 98,me,xp,2000,2003

You will need to saerch for a little program called Komku-SP-usb so get going and also a working computer with an actual cd/dvd rom drive. So if you need go use your buddys computer.

2.Locate folder C:\Komku\PeToUSB\ and double click PeToUSB.exe
3.Select USB Removable, make sure enable disk format and enable disk format are all checked.
If you feel the need you may put something to name your usb in the drive label area. And uncheck
enable file copy if it is checked.
4.Click Start
5.Click Yes
6.Click Yes Again
7.After Operation complete you can exit out of that program.

Sigma card reader/writer doesn't recognize my new SD card

Hello,

What I suspect here is that, the USB port that you are using is a USB 1.0 port, which has a lower voltage not enough to power on your Storage drive.

In this case, there are two things you can do,

1. Change the USB port you are using for the storage drive to a USB 2.0 one (Just keep Checking all the ports one by one in case you dont know which one it is).

2. If your Storage drive has external power facility, just plug it in an external power first, before connecting it to the system.

If there are no USB 2.0 Ports on your system at all,

then just go to any electronic store and tell them you want to buy a USB 2.0 Expansion card.

and if it is a laptop, A USB 2.0 PCMCIA card.

Install it on your system, and connect your external drive through it.

Hope this helps you out.

Goodluck

No your not.Go to microsoft web site or use the built in Windows Update on your computer. If you haven't downloaded the update tool it will ask you to install it.After it installs the update tool, run it.Pick the updates you need lnstall them some will require you to restart.Later check the automatic update feature to check for updates.Other updates will be from the manufacturer or your PC,check for their updates.Software from their sites. This is not hard.If I were you I would buy a general book on XP you can learn easy steps to keep your PC up to date and won't have to ask anyone (except FixYa.com) good luck

PNY Attache USB (4GB pen drive) not recognized by WinXP SP3

Your USB memory should be damaged. i have a Centon DataStickPro 4GB that was OK but now i have the same problem. If you know HOW you can try re-format on DOS, but be careful with your harddrive.

By the way, 3885 MB are 3.7GB or so.....

You can try buying another one, SAME MODEL, then the same/next day return the BAD ONE to the store and get your money back.

Dell l400 problem

1.If you purchase an external USB CD drive you will not need to use your floppy discs for booting. 2. You can connect a USB CD drive to your system. 3. Your system will recognize any device plugged into your USB drive. 4. There is no CD drive available for internal installation in your computer. 5. With the USB CD drive plugged in and the windows installation disc inserted, your computer should take you through the setup program automatically.

it most probably supports OpenGL; will run on the P3 comp. and to be able to use the card properly u will need it;s drivers. U;ll have to look for them on the manufacture\s site or on other sits (www.driverguide.com for example ....) If u don;t find it's driver, it might work with other drivers made for the same video card chipset ....
