Yes, sadly you need to buy a new Xbox. There's really nothing more you can do......

Xbox keeps turning off?

Since it's turning off just seconds after turning it on, there are two suggestions I'd add to this list. First, try removing anything unnecessary for powering it on (hard drives, flash drives, wired controllers, ethernet cables, etc.). If it starts up just fine, perhaps you can isolate the problem.

Second, do a thorough examination of every input port on the console. Look specifically for bent pins that may be touching the metal enclosure. This is especially possible if you've got young children (or any careless foot traffic, really) that can kick USB devices out of the front or step on them and bend them down. If there are bent pins, just remove the power supply from the console and bend them back in place to correct the short.

XBOX had no power, so I found and repaired bent USB port pins, then the XBOX came on with three red lights. Any DIY repair possible?

Thanks for your question. To fix the 3 red lights what you will need to do is stop the heat getting to the GPU and the CPU and to do this you can use a good Xbox 360 Repair guide or of course you can send it in to microsoft.

Xbox 360 won't turn on!! I was playing my xbox for all of 30 minutes, turned it off, went to turn it back on again an hour later, and nothing!! No red ring of death, no pop or spark, just nothing....

try this
I know its a little annoying but its useful trust me. The orange light usually means a problem with the power supply. This means WORST CARE SCENARIO you have to replace the power brick but you 99% dont have to get a new xbox.

2 problems loss of power a xbox 360 console

Check to see if any prongs are touching or bent in the USB ports. When the USB port prongs are bent they sometimes wind up touching the receiver tips of where the USB makes contact with any devices that you plug in. If they are bent just bend them up so they arent touching the metal receivers and that should solve the no power to xbox360.

My 360 won't power up. Orange light on power supply. No extention cord, changed wall plug, bought new power supply, removed face plate and nothing changed.

Have a look into the usb ports on the front right of the console, look for any damage or bent pins, if any pins are touching this will cause a short, so the console will not turn on.
Or it could be an internal resistor problem, which would be best looked at by a pro repair center.

My power box light up yellow but my xbox doesnt turn on at all why is this

Because you have not said you have the box in bits, I will assume that it just stopped working. So this could be something simple to fix, or an internal resistor problem, that would best be repaired by a pro repair centre.
First unplug everything, even the hard drive, then reattach everything.
If you are using a play and charge kit, take out the wire from the console.
Have a look into the usb ports on the front, right of the console, make sure non of the pins are bent and touching, this will cause the console to short and not turn on.
Remember to thumbs up if this helps.

My Xbox360 wont turn on. I pluged in the mic for rockband and the xbox turned off, started flashing green and now it won't turn on. How can i fix it?

Did you plug the mic into the usb port? if you did have a look inside that port, it sounds like you have bent a pin so its touching another and shorting to ground, just bend it back and you should be ok.
Remember to thumbs up this solution if it helps, if not comment me.

My xbox 360 isn't tuning on i press the button and

It might do when you say you have broken the USB port there could be a short which is preventing the Console from turning on. Mske sure none of the pins are touching one another but make sure you turn off the console so you dont do any more damage,.
