Question about NEC VT47 Multimedia Projector
We have a NEC overhead projector that we use at our church building. The bulb burnt out and we replaced it with a new one. Now the picture is bright as it was when it was new, but the text and images show as double (side by side horizontally) on the screen. We have made all of the adjurstments we are able to do on the setup menu, but the images/text are still doubled. In other words, if the screen has a powerpoint presentation displayed that has a letter "a" (starting a sentence, etc.) it comes across the screen as "aa" Everything is mirrored side by side.
I hope this makes sense. I don't have the model number with me since the projector is at the building and I am home.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. - Forrest
This sounds like a damaged Mainboard.
First check if your Projector is still under warranty as this is a very expensive part to have replaced.
Also check if it has any effect whatsoever using another PC Cable.
Hope this is of help.
