when i try to use norton speed disk is alway stop responding and i have to
reboot my machine. Also when i use norton system check at the point where
it check my hd is stop responding again.
Is something wrong with my ata66 card??
have anyone have problem with it?

I assume you have COM1 and COM2 disabled.
I would go ahead and disable SB16 emulation on the sound card.
That will save an extra IRQ (9) and it is only required for MS-DOS mode.
Do you have more than 4 EIDE devices?
If not then I would disable the onboard EIDE (primary & secondary on the
mobo)
That will free up IRQ14 and IRQ15.
Actually if you have more than four but less than seven devices then I would
at least disable your secondary EIDE channel on the mobo (to free up IRQ15).
Just to make sure... I hope you don't have a second parallel port on your
system, eh? That would also use IRQ5 even if it doesn't show in Windows.
