I have all 5 speakers hooked up and I'm trying to play a music CD but I can only get sound from the 2 front speakers and the subwoofer...nothing from the center or either surrounds.
I have the same problem only I have narrowed mine to the connections inside the dvd player. I tried several different combinations of speaker wires and connections. It has to be a fuse inside that I can't get to.I have the same problem only I have narrowed mine to the connections inside the dvd player. IF your balance is correct on your cd player and youve got good connections on both wires the speakers should work unless the front two channels are fried then theres no sound. I would try getting two extra pieces of wire 2 feet atleast and hook them up to the front two channels and to an extra speaker if youve got one then go from there.
I installed my soundcard which is the sound blaster SE audigy but when i try to test the sound i see that it does not sound separately. What i have to do to make them sound saperately when i'm testing it ?
if you are trying to get rid of all the speakers & just hooking up the sound to the tv speakers, what you need to look for on the back of the dvd system is you need to find an audio out. I know the is one or two audio input, but I do not think there are any audio outputs. I don'e think you can get sound out of this system without your speakers hooked up. sorry.
