SOURCE: dymo letratag, instructions

I had a hard time finding the instructions too. Here's the simple way to get to manuals for all versions of the LetraTag.

http://dymo.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/dymo.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=68&p_created=1080056962

Once you're on that screen, (and this is what I missed the first 3! times), there's a small scroll bar on the right side of the page. You'll need to move the scroll arrow down the page. Then you'll see the other three options for LetraTag models and select the one that looks like yours. Suggest saving the instructions, since printing is difficult unless you have access to a printer that'll take 10" x 30" paper. Better than nothing, thouogh.

SOURCE: Does a DYMO Letratag QX50 have a replaceable ink

It is a thermal printer and thus does not use ink.

The most likely cause of poor print quality is low batteries. Replace your batteries or plug in the power adapter.

If this does not help check that the label cassette is in place correctly and that the print head is clean. You could also try a new label cassette.

Dymo don't do spare parts for their machines - because most of them are so cheap now that it's much cheaper to buy a new one than it is to repair them.

This is especially so for the LetraTAG machines which are the cheapest in the Dymo label maker range.

For that price it's a no-brainer - if the display is unreadable just buy a new one!

SOURCE: I have the dymo letratag.

LetraTag label makers are thermal printers, so they don't use ink - just batteries and LetraTAG tapes.
When the print starts to fade it's time to put new batteries in.

I want to print a label with two lines of print on it. How do I do it?

To create a two-line label 1. Type the text for the first line and press INSERT. 2. Use the arrow keys to select Second Line and press . A multiline symbol is inserted at the end of the first line, but will not print on the label. 3. Type the text for the second line.
Here's the manual, see page 12 - http://www.dymo-label-printers.co.uk/downloads/LetraTAG-LT100H-Manual.pdf

How do you change the font and size on a dymo letratag?

Aside from changing the size, printing as big or small and using symbols, the LetraTAG does not offer various fonts. This model is pretty basic and has the one font and that is all.

The manual can be found at this location:

Hi I'm wondering if the Dymo pocket will take a tape, so that I can iron labels on to clothing or even be stitched on. If so what would the cassette be called. Thanks

The Dymo label printer capable of printing iron on tape is the Dymo Letratag. There are a couple of model printers

Dymo Letratag - handheld model
Dymo Letratag - desktop model with qwerty keyboard

and the Dymo 18771 Letratag iron on tape is the tape cartridge available.
