Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

So no sound, no picture, no indicator lights, no nothing?
Two options: blown fuse or bad power-board.
Either way start by opening up you're TV's case. First check for any blown fuses, if you find one, check it for its rating and buy a new one at Radio Shack.
If that's not the problem, then it's most likely a bad power-board. There are ways to check if those are functional or not, but that requires a Volt-meter (cheap) and some know-how. Depending on you TV's model, a new power-board can be very easy to find online for pretty cheap.
If you wanna try any of this stuff, but aren't accustomed to this sort of thing, let me know and I can walk you through it. Remember, there's no such thing as a stupid question.
