How do I get Amazon Fire TV resolution set so I get more than a blue screen?

Select the input channel for your Fire TV - Turn on your TV and select the input channel for the HDMI port you used to connect your Fire TV. You should then see a loading screen with the Amazon Fire TV logo 4.

The screen shows ''Weak Signal'' and no picture, even though audio is coming through from both the Cable DVR box and Blue-Ray player. The cable box connects to the TV with an HMI cable - all five TV inputs...

Mine did the same thing once. I think all I did was hit the setup on the remote, and let it run back through all the channels and then it worked just fine.

I hope this works for you.

Screen shows no signal

HDTV sets are different from the old analog sets.

If your set is showing No Signal or Weak Signal you will have to do the following.
1) Connect an Antenna or Cable to the input on the back.
2) Go into the Channel signal source menu and select either the Air/Antenna or Cable option.
3) Go into the Auto Program Scan menu and SCAN in the channels.

Now you can watch available channels.

Tv monitor turns blue during forward or reverse vcr search

On some TV's the screen will go blue if there is not a strong, solid video signal present. This is to prevent the showing of very snowy or all snow channels, or garbled, mixed-up external video signals. This is normal. On some VCR's the video signal changes when the FF or REW search feature is used, and this could trigger the TV to go to blue screen. The only way around this if you can enter the TV's menu and turn off the blue screen feature.
