Question about GE Zoneline AZ55H07D Air Conditioner
I would appreciate some advice. I just installed a digital thermostat from GE RAK148P1 on an existing Zoneline PTAC. The low voltage line short circuited while installing the thermostat (stupid, I know). Now, the PTAC doesn't work. There is no light in the touch pad controls (with or without the thermostat).
Do I need to replace the PTAC?
Most likely you will need to either replace transformer or there may be a low voltage flat type "car fuse" usually 3 amp or 5 amp for just such an occasion. Good luck!
