Move the second button from the left to set, enter the time in 24 hour format via the HH and MM buttons, then move the button to start. The far left switch, on/auto.off is for the chime. Set to on for 24 hour alarms, set to auto for no chime from 11pm til 6am, set to off, to turn it off.

I had to leave the far black left switch on or up,turn the white set /run switch to set..the far left hour is the 10 , the next hour is the 1, the next min is the 10, the far right is min 1.
when you want to set tghe clock time .press the button and count the chirp for the time..for 10: 36 press the far left button 1 time.. do not touch the next 1 hour button..: touch the 10 min button 3 time or 3 chirps.. press the 1 min button 6 times or chirps.. then set the set switch up or run..the chime should chime every 15 min.. and the hour should chime for te hour on the hour..

YES! Like BA said, inside the clock are switches. Turn one to OFF. Move the other to SET. Then push the H button the # of the hour it is. There are one (far left) and two digit #s (far right). I'd tried to fix this clock we bought for my mom and dad some 15 years ago.....finally the clock works again! Thanks BA!!

JUST PRESS THE BUTTONS ON THE INSIDE OF THE CLOCK WHILE THE MAIN SWITCH WAS IN THE OFF POSTION. ONCE THE HOUR AND MINUTE WERE ADJUSTED, THE MAIN SWITCH WAS SET TO ON AND THE CLOCK WAS TICKING.

THANKS.

I have a Sanyo PLC-EX20 projector which shuts down after five minutes, what could cause this?

There are 2 possible causes.

The first may be due to overheating. Most projectors have a "air filter" that can be removed and cleaned. If it gets clogged with dust over time, the projector can't breathe and shuts down.

The second cause may be your lamps life hour clock. Most projectors keep track of the amount of time that their bulbs have been active. Once a preset # of hours has passed the projector will limit functionality until a new bulb has been installed AND the lamp life clock reset. Most projectors do not automatically reset the lamp life clock after a new bulb is inserted.

There should be instructions on how to reset the lamp clock in your users manual, and info on cleaning the air filter. Unfortunately I went to the Sanyo website and was unsuccessful in locating a PDF of the user manual for you.

the projector lamps have a life time of a few thousand hours .. then they may start doing what you describe ... lamps are available on the internet for about 1/4 of the cost from a repair service .. if you are handy at doing such things .. its usually not hard to change the lamp .. you just have to remember not to get finger prints on the new lamp and dont touch a hot one .. there is often a cubby or door or panel at the back of the set where the lamp can be found . instructions for changing the lamp are often given by the manufacturer on their web site .... if we knew the make and model for your TV then we could direct you to the proper instruction .. or your can do a web search for your brand/model .. make sure the set is unplugged before doing anything with the lamp ..

Hi, I have the fix for you....EXIT out of the message telling you to reset you meter. Now you need to push the - vol (neg vol) button on you set, at the same time push the split button on your remote (very bottom of the remote is the split button with the vcr controles) You need to push these at the same time for 20 or more seconds and you will recieve a message that the metter has been reset. Exit out of that message and all should be fine. Took me about 15 minutes to get to a tech to walk me through it.
