To disable the internet, you must talk to the helpline of the service provider so that they disable the internet connection and stop charging you for it. Update will install the latest firmware on the phone. This process will delete all the data on the phone. hence, you must always backup the data before updating the device. Data includes contacts, msgs, settings, pics videos etc etc.

Disable the internet on the nokia 6205

Contact your cell phone service provider and ask that Internet access be completely disabled on your account. Some providers cannot do this, but many can. This is the only truly foolproof way to disable Internet access through your cell phone or over a multiple phone plan. This will also prevent your receiving junk text messages, for which you may also be charged a data fee.

I want to update my w350i

Hello ,

Using 'Update Service' you can update your W350i for latest enhancements.

* Before updating the phone software you should backup your contacts, media files, notes , bookmarks etc.

1) Download the 'Update Service' software using this link :
2) Simply run Update Service and connect your phone to the application with a USB cable.
This procedure only takes a couple of minutes. Software updates are released at different times depending on your phone model and operator. How long a software update takes is very much dependent on the speed of your Internet connection and which phone model you are updating.
It may take about 10 to 40 minutes to update your phone.
The phone battery needs to be fully charged to ensure that the phone will not power down during update. Also ensure that you've got a stable Internet connection.
3) If you have found any update then *go ahead with updating.

I understand you receive an error message 0x80072EFE when trying to installing update from the Windows Update website. This kind of issue may be caused by hardware/software firewalls or proxy server or Windows category files are corrupted. Let’s try the following steps to resolve this issue.

Can't turn off the camera shutter sound...and the update service said that my phone's software is latest...

Almost all phones have this feature disabled. the reason for this is because of the numerous upskirt scandals circulating around the internet.

You can however turn this off using a 3rd party software.

Can not update software

Most likely the firewall on you security software is causing the problem. If you know how to disable it open your security software and turn off the firewall. After updating the software, turn on the firewall again.
If you are not able to do the above steps. We will have to disable it from MSCONFIG.
Click start – Run – Type “msconfig” – Hit enter
Click on the Tab “Startup” on the top, Click “Disable All” button
Click on the Tab “Services” on the top, Put a Check on “Hide All Microsoft Service” , Click “Disable All” button
Click OK.
Restart the computer and try updating the software now. It should work. Once updated, open msconfig again and select “Normal Startup” to reset it back to the default settings again.
