When i conect it on the pc its appears only transfer mode it shows also the batery is empty and usb conected ready it doesnt turn on

Try a new USB cord and make sure your driver is updated. Try a different USB port on your PC as well. They can go bad. You may try to remove the battery for a minute and then reinstall the battery and see if that resets it and has any effect.

I had the same problem but have now resolved as follows. Turn the top switch to on and connect via USB port. Picture should come on the mp3 player indicating it is connected. For some reason unknown to me in order to charge you need to turn the MP3 player on - but this is impossible if there is no charge. What you need to do now is leave the MP3 player connected like this overnight - it will then have gained enough charge in the morning so that when you then disconnect the MP3 player from the USB lead you are able to actually turn it on. PLEASE NOTE this is not turning on by the switch at the top. What you do it press and hold the circle/dash symbol i.e. at the bottom of the white keypad bit on the front of the MP3 player. As you then let go it comes on. Let it finish turning itself on, then reconnect to the USB lead and leave over night to get a full charge. Good Luck

Need help transfering songs from my computer to my mp3 player. i have no manual

If you having the USB data cable it's easy to transfer any data from PC to MP3 player or MP3 player to PC using USB mode. I think there is no necessity of manual for this purpose. You didn't mention what is your player brand and model name.

Further please let us know.

Thanks for joining Fixya.

Have a good day.

I have used Windows Media Player to upload about 50 songs onto the MP3 player, but when I turn it on it says there are only 24. When it's connected to my pc I can see all 50+ songs are on there - but I...

Possible cause:
- Look at your mp3 file naming standard paying particular attention to the suffix (eg. must have either .MP3 or .WMA for music) and overall name length (some players impose an arbitrary max length for efficiency!).
- Look at the 'properties' of your 'working' songs and those that do not appear: the songs are encoded/compressed and not all 'audio bit rates' will be supported by your specific player (128kbps fixed bit rates usually works well)

I have a Sony NW A3000 20 GB. I have downloaded

have you tryed these methods for loading it ?
**Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder, available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

try this and see if you get better results but if all your missing is a lousy 11 megs why worry thats just about 3 song if your lucky im sittin on 15 megs on my 2 gig and it doesnt bother me 1 bit

I think you are going to have to connect the Player up to your PC via it's USB cable and then possibly repartition and reformat.. Do you have the, any? software that came with ya player installed on ya PC? If so often all "Utilities" to do this are included. Here is a link to the Curtis web troubleshooting I am sure ya will find help there too. http://www.curtisint.com/support/troubleShooting.asp
