Question about Sharp 55R-WP4H 55" Rear Projection Television
I have the same problem with my tv. Do you know how to fix it?
I called SHARP electronics and didn't stopp calling until I got the head of cstomer relations. After about 18 months I finally got them to replace the digital board assembly with no cost to me. They agreed this was a defective part and at first offered to pay half ($537 - my half). again, I was persistence with this being a defective part. Key here is don't give up! Sharp needs to stand behind their product, period. I don't care if I am out of warranty.
Here is the phone number I have for Customer Relations
Hope this helps.

Hi, Acme in Orlando Fl. will sell you the IC`s for your set 1-800-575-9833, be sure to purchase a tube of "heat sink compound" which you will apply to the back side of the IC`s before soldering them in, good luck, video-tek
