Question about Motorola Mobility Q9m Smartphone

1 Answer

Text message freezing

Had the Q9m for a few weeks now, and all of the sudden it started acting whacky. It will be really laggy and sometimes completely freeze up, and then i turn it off for a few minutes and turn it back on and it will then act normal for a short time and then start again. when its acting up it will not let me access the message menu at all, and if it does it will not let me text, it acts as if the keyboard isn't working and i have to hit the home page button to get it to do anything. Have the latest software update, my carrier is Verizon and they were no help whatsoever. Thanks for your time.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My HTC desire will not let me send or get text messages it keeps saying code 2 class 2 and code 3 class 2

I had an HTC for a year and a half....just loved it. But when it got old it started acting up like that . It would say weird codes and It started actually jamming up. I took it to T mobile ( my dealer) and they unloaded the "cashce" in it and got rid of some "cookies". They also had me delete allllll of my accumulated text ( I had hundreds backed up.!) It seemed to work well for a few weeks longer. But then just started freezing up.....:( I got sick of it and talked them into an upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S 4g. But I have learned to shut it down once a day and re boot, have a good virus protector on it , keep my text load small, clean up Casche and Cookies. And so far so good....Hope this helps! Peg

How can i unhighlite the text in macbook word 2008

JUST READ THROUGH
Just wondering if anyone else was having issues with Microsoft Word from MS Office 2008, where you open the application, you type a few sentences, and the application freezes with the spinning circle of death that won't go away until you click the dock where it says "application not responding" and do a force-quit? You can leave the circle spinning for 10-20-30 minutes, and it never goes away.

Now for the weird part--this error only happens for me when I'm using a specific document on my computer. I can open Word, start a new document, type several paragraphs of text, and it works fine. But I've been working on an existing paper for about two months that all of a sudden started causing these freezes/crashes when editing it. It's about 30 pages roughly, no images, no big inserts that would take up a lot of memory (116 kb in size). And up until today, there were no problems. So why all of a sudden can't I edit anything on this paper without freezing the program?! I downloaded the Microsoft Office 2008 Service Pack 1 that was just released after this problem started, and ran all the recent Java and program updates through Software Update with computer restarts. I even copied the text from the Word document I was working on, pasted it into a new document, tried saving it as both .doc and .docx, and again the program still freezes when working with that text in a new file. This one baffles me. It's like the text within a document is somehow freezing the application. One thing I did notice is that the freezes seem to happen when I'm scrolling using a mouse wheel. Not always, but quite a bit. I suppose this is some memory issue related to several pages of text that the program can't render or process when you add new lines of text or scroll, but again, I can't figure why this paper I've been working on for months all of a sudden decided to start freezing Word today. Can you really only have 30 double-spaced pages of text in Word before it crashes?

Looks like I've found my reason to switch to Open Office, since I'm 3-4 days out from a

My LG Versa kept freezing up too...Call Verizon and have them tell you what software version is on your phone currently. I then took took it to the Verizon store and had it 'flashed' because there was a newer version for mine...it took about 25 minutes...worked fine...no more freezing up.

When I send text messages I can't see the words I'm typing, it wont let me text certain people, it wont stop sending messages to other people, and it keeps freezing.

I had the same problem, and it will only get worse. It's a simple fix though...just follow these steps. I actually found this solution on this exact website =] so if you can't fully understand how I explain it, ou can find other posts as well.

Settings >> Text Input Settings >> Uncheck box next to "Suggest Words When Typing."

Simple enough, restart the phone and start texting, It should be fine. Hope this helps!!
