Your Gas Furnace is a Comfortmaker.
The Evaporator Coil is an Armstrong.

Hope you find this to be very helpful.

Please leave a rating for me. :-)

Testimonial: "thank you, i dont know how you guys tell from the serial #s but as long as you can i guess! what about size, tonnage, age, etc? any help there? "

The Gas Furnace is 75K BTUH

The coil is a 2 1/2 ton coil.

Right off hand I'm not sure about the dates.....the dates can be determined by the serial number, but you have to know the manufacturer's nomenclature for their serial number......that will take some research. :-)

I need replacement spring for ribblon supply spindle. It is the tension spring that fits outside od the inner coil spring Mod 105SL Ser # 6406991

That spring is part of the Ribbon supply spindle and I don't think anyone would sell you just the spring unless they charge you what the spindle is worth for just the spring. If you need i have them in stock. Rory 708-597-4222

Trying to locate relay for very old GE airhandler located in attic at a church with model # of air handler unreadable. relay has 24 volt coil built in and has both AMF and Potter and Brumfield stamps. Only...

I have had to rewire the old GE furnaces to where I can set a new relay right beside where the old one was. I know this is not the easiest thing but if this is the furnace I think it is it may be the only answer

It is not heating

check your thermostat ,check your heater kit inside your airhandler or furnace if electric and check the coil of your sequencer .

Carrier A/C unit not cooling..but freezing refrigerant tube.

if the fan isnt running or you dont get enough return air (on the furnace) the coil will freeze up or if you have it set too low it will freeze up overnight, make sure your filters are clean, and that you dont have any return vents (air sucking in) covered with rugs and whatnot. If you have animals, the coil (on top of the furnace) could be clogged with hair, even though you change your filters it still gets clogged with hair and must be cleaned. if your coil was froze up you need to make sure it is completely thawed out, run the fan in the on setting with the a/c off until you dont see or hear any more water then turn it on again. and finially make sure when the furnace goes off (thermostat clicks and is satisfied) the outdoor condenser goes off as well the contactor could have been stuck in the on position. if you cant fix it call someone who can when your coil freezez up it can cause slugging in your compressor (liquid entering the compressor) which will destroy it !!!!!!!!!!!

Where are the furnace filters in my older furnace?

Open the door to the airhandling unit inside the closet by lifting upward on them. There should be two filters located on top of the A coil.

Air handler

This should be doable: First get pen and paper-start at the furnace, theres a group of 5-8 wires leaving the furnace anfd going to the thermostat and a group of 2-3 going to the condenser outside that all need to be identified and the location in the furnace recorded if your furnace has a control board simply right the letter and the corresponding wire color:and whether it belongs to the condenser grp or the T-stat grp.

Furnace
R-red-to t-stat
C-yellow to cond
Y-red to cond and yellow to t-stat
G- green-to t-stat
W- white- to t-stat

If you dont have a circuit board youll be doing the same thing but using the components rather than letters;

Transformer 24v- red to t-stat
transformer 24v com -yellow to cond
Red from cond connected to yellow from t-stat
fan relay - green to t-stat
gas valve - white to t-stat

K then go to you t-stat and simply connect the corasponding component or leter to the thermostat gterminal

Cond Furnace Thermostat

yellow com- blue -C or B
gas valve or w-white -W
fan relay or g -green -G
trans 24v or R -red - R
red connection to cond or Y on board -Y
Hope this helps.
