Hi,
If there is no LED on, then the most likely reason is, that your wii isn't getting power. So the problem, is with the plugs, and the power adapter. If you have a friend who has a wii, try testing his power adapter on your wii. Make sure your cords are completely plugged in, on both sides, (the outlet and the wii) then press the power button on the wii. If that dosent work, try turning it on with one of your wiimotes. If that dosent work, that means your wiimote is not syncronized with your wii. To sync. it, open the sd card cover on the front of the wii, press the red button above the sd card slot. Then open the bottom of your wiimote, (where the batteries are) and press the small red button that should be beside the batteries. Then hold the wiimote close to the wii, then after its done flashing, press the power button on the wiimote and also, try plugging your power cord into another outlet. If it still won't work, you've got a broken wii, so you better send it to get replaced or fixed, again as suggested. DON'T OPEN IT! You could loose your warranty if you open it, so it's safest not to. Hope you get it to work.

My nintendo wii crashed and would turn off by the power button so l unpluged it and then pluged it back in but it wont turn back on

I am afraid your Nintendo Wii needs to be repair. Now, you have 2 choices. Either to send it to the repair shop who would charge you with 150+US$ and take 2-3 weeks time, OR you can repair it yourself by sitting at home.

I would recommend you to use Complete Nintendo Wii Repair Guide that would allow you to fix your gaming console within no time. You can fix your Wii with the help of Wii Fix Manual and make your console work again without any problem. Save yourself time and money! I used it personally and now I never send my Wii to some repair shop, EVER!

Wii Handset Motion Sensor Not Working

It could be one of a few things.

1. Your sensor bar is no good, can you get the pointer icon on the wii's main menu to work properly?
To fix this you'll need to contact Nintendo and get a new sensor bar or buy one of the third party ones, Nintendo should help you out though.

2. The accelerometer in the wii is stuck, which does happen from time to time.
To fix this turn the Wii remote so the buttons face towards the floor and slap the back of the remote firmly(not too hard!) with the palm of your hand. It should work if that is the problem.

3. The accelerometer is broken or otherwise rendered useless.
To fix this you'll have to contact Nintendo.

To get a hold of Nintendo 1-800-255-3700 they're very friendly and it never takes very long(I got helped in 5 minutes the day after Wii was released.) Best of all, Nintendo doesn't outsource!
