When my dish washer discharge water instead of the water going out the drain it come out the overflow valve.

The dishwasher usually drains into disposal, or directly into tailpiece, and water drains down to the p-trap.
Trap may be clogged or stopped up.
Clean out drain line, tighten connection where dishwasher attaches.
Clean out bottom of disposal under cutter blade.
Copy following link for clogged disposal, and drain line tips.

Dishwasher has no water

Find out where your water supply is turned on to your dishwasher. Usually it is under the sink and make sure the valve is turned counter clockwise to supply water to the dishwasher. If this is on, on some models there is a float switch that will sometimes get stuck in the overflow position. Look in the bottom of the dishwasher tub and you will see a round float. Usually it is in the front left of the dishwasher. Move the float up and down and you should hear a clicking noise. Make sure float stays in the lowered position, closest to the dishwasher floor. Check those two and let me know what you find. And we can go from there.

My GE triton dishwasher has water standing in the

The GE GSD5500 has a check valve in the rear of the unit under the FILTER FRAME that screws in. GE part WD24X10018.
The white rubber stopper wears out and lets water return to the tub!
Remove filter frame (4 screws) and unscrew the check valve to replace. Try appliancepartspros.com for part # AP2617344.

Water shoots out of the water diverter or overflow on the sink but its not cloged

Yoou must be talking about the air gap for dishwasher discharge hose. This will show water if the inlet to the disposal is clogged and the water has a hard time getting through the inlet (it is a common problem). The problem is not with the dishwasher, Disconnect the rubber hose end to this outlet and check the inlet piece and check the hose that you just removed; you should see something clogged. GE dishwaher leaks with standing water in bottom

Check to make sure regular dish soap did not end up getting inside the dishwasher. This will create a lot of suds that will overflow onto the kitchen floor. Standing water from not draining can mean the drain hose is clogged somewhere or the check valve has something caught in it. If you remove the front kick plate, you will be able to check those.

Dishwasher conitues to fill even if unplugged

If the dishwasher is filling with out the power on, you have a defective inlet water valve. If it's new, have them repair it under your warranty. If not the part number is wd15x10003. Easy fix, on the left side behind the toe panel...Catriver...post back.
