Intel EtherExpress PRO/100 Mobile Adapter stops...

I' m trying to install the above mentioned adapter into an ACER Extensa 710TE.
After having inserted the card and swithed on the laptop the ACER screen appears,
then the OS Loader 4.01 of NT4/SR-4.
After that I get a blue screen with the following message:
Stop*0*0000001E(0*C0000005,0*F8C2205E,0*00000000,0*0000000C) KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.
I tried also to install the driver software first and then installed the card.
But the problem remains.
How can the problem be solved.

Which mobile adapter do you have? It will let us see if the PCMCIA
Controller on your system will handle it.
