Have any owners of the Epson 3000z had problems with the double flash?
For some reason the built-in flash double flashes in all modes. I
assume they designed it this way to reduce red eye, but the interval is
too closely timed with most people's blink response. In most of my
pictures, at least one person has their eyes shut or half shut. The
only way for me to guarantee a good flash shot is with an external
flash. Am I doing something wrong?

The only time that my 3000z double flashes is when I have it set to
Red-Eye reduction mode. All other modes flash normally.

Is this true for everybody? I'm about to get all over Epson about this
because that means there's something wrong with my camera.

I called Epson about the double flash, and the person on the phone told
me that there was a problem and to send it in so I did. I just received
it back today with a note that states the pulse flash (double flash) is
standard on the Epson 3000Z. Is this true?
Just to restate the problem I'm having, the flash double flashes for
every mode except external flash and no flash.
